            This is an agreement entered upon between the Government of
        Bahrain, hereinafter called the Government and Petroleum Concessions
        .Limited, Bahrain, hereinafter called P.C.L. to the effect that the
       i Government ha3 leased to Petroleum Concessions an area partly in
         sea and partly on land situated in the Island of Sitrah, Bahrain,
         the boundaries and measurements of which are shown on the accompanying
         map for 4'.period of Twenty Years commencing from the date of this
         agreement, on an annual rental of Rupees One hundred, payable in
         advance every year. The agreement is subject to the following terms

         1. P.C.L. reserves the right to*terminate the agreement any time
            after the expiry of the first five years by giving six months
            notice in writing.

         2.  P.C.L. reserves the right to construct a pier and other
            structures within the area leased. P.C.L. shall also have the
            right to access to their area by land and from the. sea and to moor
            boats in the area. No non-P.C.I.. boats shall moor in the leased
            area without permission from the Company, thatjis, P.C.L.
             reserves the mooring rights in its area.
         3.  After the termination of the lease all permanent structures or
             piers constructed will become the property of the Govei’nmcnt.
         4.  P.C.L. will not bore any artesian wells on the area without
             obtaining 0 written permission from the Government.

         5.  The agreement' can be renewed by mutual consent.
         6.  Arabic calendar will be followed for calculating rent and period
             of the agreement.
         7.  P.C.L. will be responsible for any claims for damage to fish
             traps existing prior to the construction of the P.C.L. pier or
             other works if it is legally proved that such damage is directly
             due to their pier or works.
         0.  P.C.L. will not interfere with the passage of non-P.C.I.. boats
             and launches past and wel^clcar of their pier head.
         9.  Any dispute as regards the interpretation of this agreement will
             be referred to the Political Agent, Bahrain, whose decision                   ill
             will be final and binding on both parties.

             Doted the 1st of Rajab, 1359 corresponding the 4th of August.
