Please refer to our letters number PCM.5/8015 dated 6th
December 1949 and PCN.5/0828 dated 10th December 1949 on the
subject of this Company's pier at Sitra.
We consider that in further support of our case it is not
irrelevant to point out that official permission was given to
us in the early months of 1949 by the Bahrain Government to buoy
the channel Sitra/Zekrit.
In our opinion, permission to undertake such an expensive
installation was tantamount to direct approval from the Bahrain
Government to use Sitra as a port of entry and departure.
