                            For Audsley,
                            Elections are now to ho held on April 18 and 19 for three
                       Workers' Representatives on the Government Labour Committee.
                       2.   Since the oommittco will no doubt wish to hold the first
                       meeting within a very few days it would, I think, be most
                       desirable to advance the date of your visit and for you to
                       arrive not later than the end of next week,   After successfully
                       taking part in protracted negotiations about the formation of
                       the committee, it would be unfortunate if we were not in a
                       position to offer immediate help and advice, and I hope we shall
                       be able to make tho expert, referred to in paragraph J*. of my
                        telegram Saving No. 7 to Foreign Office, available at a very
                       early date.     \
