wasn’t imparted to Luke for his historical account of Jesus.

It was exclusively imparted to Paul!

By not rightly dividing the word of truth, we live in darkness,

                — not in the light. You see this in John 1:1-5. When the gospel light

is interpreted through the lens of Old Testament religion, it is

shining into darkness, and the darkness cannot understand it.

In John 12, Jesus has just finished talking about his death,

when he got a rebuttal: “We have heard from the law that the

Christ is to remain forever. So who is the Christ?” It is here that

Jesus begins instructing them about light and darkness, implying

that darkness comes through MIS-understanding the law.

Paul says the same thing in II Corinthians 3: “But their minds

were blinded: for until this day remains the same veil un-lifted in

the reading of the Old Testament; which veil is done away in Christ.

But even unto this day, when Moses is read (which means the law),

the veil is upon their heart.”

A veil over the heart is the same thing meant by darkness. It

comes from not rightly dividing the word of truth. It comes from

not rightly dividing the word between the way things are in the

NEW Testament, and the way things WERE in the Old Testament.

It comes from not know there was total REFORMATION at
the cross of Jesus Christ (Heb 9:9-10).
