flesh be justified.” Following this he says, “But now the righteous-
ness of God APART from the law is manifested.” Romans 3:28 says,
“Therefore we conclude that a man is justified APART from the
deeds of the law.”
In Romans 4:4-5 he says, “Now to him who works, the
reward is not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him who
doesn’t work, but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his
faith is counted for righteousness.”
He follows this by talking about King David: “Even as David
also described the blessedness of the man unto whom God
imputes righteousness apart from works, saying, ‘Blessed are they
whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins re covered. Blessed is
the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin’.”
Romans 10:4 says, “Christ is the END OF THE LAW for
righteousness to everyone who believers.
Galatians 2:16 says, “Knowing that a man is not justified by
the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus, … that we might be
justified by the faith of Christ, and NOT by the works of the law,
for by the works of the law shall NO flesh be justified.”
In the beginning of Galatians 3 he says, “You foolish people,
who has bewitched you … having begun in the Spirit, are you now
made perfect by the flesh?”
