THE PROSPEROUS WAY
like random coincidences. When Ahaz was unsure, he refused to
expect a sign from God to confirm the word of the prophet
Isaiah, and that led to his downfall (Isaiah 7:10-13).
Look for a settled peace in your heart. (Isaiah 55:12: You will go
out in joy and be led forth in peace).
Go in the direction in which you believe God is leading and see
if doors open or close (In Acts 16:6-7, the Spirit would not allow
Paul to preach in certain regions of Asia, but in 1
Corinthians 16:9, Paul speaks of a great door being opened for
him for effective ministry in Ephesus).
Finally, if you still have no firm sense of the leading of the Spirit, wait
patiently. (Isaiah 28:16 “He that believes shall not make haste.”)
“Whether you turn to the right or to the left,
your ears will hear a voice behind you,
saying, “this is the way, walk in it.””
(Isaiah 30:21)
“I will instruct you and teach you
in the way which you should go;
I will advise you with My eye upon you.”
(Psalm 32:8)
