CHAPTER 11

STEPPING STONES

F
avour and wisdom pave the way to good success. But God has also
scattered throughout His Word other stepping stones to guide us
on our way. These are not “get rich quick” tip-offs. Rather they
speak of habits of life that we must cultivate if we are to succeed. This
chapter outlines seven such stepping stones or habits that will help us
to walk in success. In brief, they are:

Step 1 — Praying

Step 2 — Listening

Step 3 — Planning

Step 4 — Writing the Vision

Step 5 — Acting

Step 6 — Working Diligently

Step 7 — Trusting

who delights in him.”
