1- Slow Dilatation of The Cervix, liability of premature rupture of the
membranes and prolapsed cord
2-When cervix is fully dilated after ruptured of the membranes,
breach can felt. The feet are felt beside the buttocks. Meconium may
stain the examining fingers and male genitalia can be felt.
Diagnosis of breech with extended legs:
1- Fundal level: may be lower level due to early engagement of the
breech which is relatively
2- Fundal grip: ballottement of the head is diminished or absent
3- Umbilical grip: the extended leg may be mistaken for back
4- Pelvic palpation: the breech felt small, regular, and firm and
may be mistaken for the head
5- The fetal heart sounds are heared at or below the umbilicus
6- Ultrasound needed to confirm the diagnosis
7- During labor frank breech may be mistaken with the face
presentation

1- Delivery of the breech
The bitrochanteric diameter (10cm) descends in one oblique
diameter of the pelvis. The anterior buttocks meet the pelvic floor
and rotates forwards 1\8 of a circle. With further descend the
