Brow Presentation

Definition:

Cephalic presentation in which the head midway between flexion

(vertex) and extension(face).

Incidence: One in 2000 labor

Diagnosis:

I- During Pregnancy: It is difficult to diagnosis brow

presentation by abdominal examination. When the fetal back is

straight rather than curved. When the occiput and sinciput are felt
at the same level. Ultrasonography is confirm the diagnosis.

II- During Labor

1- Abdominal examination: as before.
