Management: During the first stage of labor:
Exclude congenital anomalies and contracted pelvis.
- The rest of management as occiptoposterior
position
1- During the second stage of labor: Vaginal examination is done
after the rupture of the membranes to estimate the degree of cervical
dilatation.
• In mento-anterior position: Spontaneous delivery is allowed. If
the second stage is prolonged or distress in maternal or fetal, the
forceps is applied if the head is engaged, and cesarean section is
done if the head is not engaged.
• In mento-posterior: we give the chin chance to rotate forward
1.The chin rotates 3/8 of circle Delivered as mento-anterior
2.The chain fails to rotate Cesarean section
C) Third stage of labor: The same as occiptoposterior
