QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
PROFESSOR IV – VI
Education :Relevant/verticalized doctorate degree and the expertise of
the applicant is nationally and/or internationally recognized,
with 15 units of Prof. Educ. subjects
Experience : At least 15 years of tertiary teaching experience, w/ research
and extension; must have 6 relevant publications in refereed
research and academic journals; must have served as
expert/lecturer/resource speaker in his/her area of
specialization
Training : At least 180 hours of relevant trainings/seminars/workshops
in teaching, research and extension
Eligibility : RA 1080 (For courses requiring BAR or BOARD eligibility
and accreditation by PASUC)
COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY PROFESSOR
Education : Relevant/verticalized doctorate degree and 15 units of Prof.
Educ. Subjects
Experience : At least 17 years of tertiary teaching experience, w/ research
and extension; must have 8 publications in research and
refereed, academic journals; must have written books in his area;
must have served as expert/lecturer/resource speaker
in his/her area of specialization
Training : At least 200 hours of relevant trainings/seminars/workshops
in teaching, research and extension
Eligibility :RA 1080 (For courses requiring BAR or BOARD eligibility and
accreditation by National PASUC)
2. The National Budget Circular pertaining to compensation and position
classification plan for faculty positions in SUCs shall govern the compensation
and position classification of faculty positions in the University.
