QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR I TO III
Education : Relevant/verticalized master’s degree in the area of
specialization, except in very rare specialization/degree,
the expertise of the applicant is nationally and/or
internationally recognized, i.e., scientist, with 15 units of
Prof. Educ. Subjects
Experience : At least 2 years of tertiary teaching experience, research and
extension
Training : At least 48 hours of relevant trainings/seminars/workshops
in teaching, research and extension, and/or competency
certification in TESDA, Microsoft, etc.
Eligibility : RA 1080 (For courses requiring BAR or BOARD eligibility)
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR IV
Education : Relevant/verticalized master’s degree in the area of
specialization, and the expertise of the applicant is
nationally and / or internationally recognized, i.e., scientist,
with 15 units of Prof. Educ. Subjects
Experience : At least 4 years of tertiary teaching experience, w/ research
and extension
Training : At least 60 hours of relevant trainings/seminars/workshops
in teaching, research and extension, and/or competency
certification in TESDA, Microsoft, etc.
Eligibility : RA 1080 (For courses requiring BAR or BOARD eligibility)
ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR I – III
Education : Master’s degree in the area of specialization with 15 units of
Prof. Educ. Subjects
Experience : At least 6 years of tertiary teaching experience, w/ research,
and extension;
Training : At least 80 hours of relevant
trainings/seminars/workshops in teaching, research and
extension
Eligibility : RA 1080 (For courses requiring BAR or BOARD
eligibility)
