Campus Staff Development Committee (CSDC)
A Campus Staff Development Committee (CSDC) shall be organized in all campuses
of the University. The composition of the Campus Staff Development Committee will be:
➢ Chairman - Campus Executive Director
➢ Members - Director for Finance
- Director for Planning & Development
- President, CSC-Accredited Faculty Association
- Administrative Officer as Secretary
FUNCTIONS OF THE UNIVERSITY STAFF DEVELOPMENT BOARD (USDB)
1. The main function of the USDB shall be that of selecting and recommending those who
should attend specific scholarship grants, training programs, seminars and other grants
made and conducted by the University or by government agencies or duly accredited NGO’s,
local or foreign.
2. The USDB shall review the staff development policies pertaining to the scholarship,
trainings and seminars, etc., and recommend some changes in conformity with the
approved staff development policies of the University.
3. The USDB, through the Chairman, shall inform all faculty through the Deans concerned
about the study grants and scheduled seminars/conferences or workshops and invite
qualified faculty members and non-teaching staff to avail of such program.
4. The USDB shall administer the Staff Development Program of the University, i.e.
scholarship, fellowship, training, seminar-workshop, sabbatical and post doctoral leave.
5. The USDB shall coordinate the preparation, dissemination, implementation and
monitoring of the University Five-Year Staff Development Program (FYSDP).
6. The USDB shall review, revise, update and disseminate Staff Development policies, rules,
and regulations in conformity with the University Staff Development Plan for approval by
the Board of Regents.
7. The USDB shall review the priority concerns of each college/unit/campus in relation to
their respective Staff Development Plan (SDP) and to ensure the equitable distribution of
grants per year for each college/administrative unit/campus.
8. The USDB shall require and screen nominations from the campuses in all local/foreign
scholarship fellowship. The nominees shall be selected in an en banc meeting.
