Specific Policies
1. The provisions of the Revised Rules on Administrative Cases in the Civil Service (RRACS)
CSC Resolution No. 1101502 dated November 8, 2011 shall apply in proceedings against
erring faculty.
2. The University shall implement its rules and regulations on sexual harassment as indicated
in the Administrative Manual.
3. The University President may suspend or remove for cause, any faculty of the University
following due process set by the CSC and the University, without prejudice to an appeal to
the
Board of Regents within thirty (30) days after the receipt of the decision.
4. No faculty covered by the approved Merit System of the University shall be suspended or
dismissed except for cause as provided by law and after due process.
5. The provision of the Civil Service Laws and Rules on Administrative Discipline under
Rule
XIV of EO292 shall apply in the proceedings against a faculty.
6. In addition to the grounds for disciplinary action under EO 292, a faculty may be subjected
to disciplinary action on the following grounds:
a) engaging in employment while on leave without pay
b) engaging in consultancy services without prior approval of the University
which may adversely affect his/her official duties.
Section 23. OTHER PERSONNEL ACTIONS
The University shall implement its internal rules on the following actions subject to CSC rules
and regulations:
