Resignation and/or Transfer

               a)  A faculty may tender his/her resignation and/or transfer which shall be effective only upon approval


               of the University President, through appropriate channel at least thirty (30) days prior to its date of

               effectivity as confirmed by the Board of Regents.


                          No resignation and/or transfer shall take effect during a school term unless a successor or

               a substitute shall have been appointed.


                          The aforesaid policy on resignation and/or transfer shall not apply when the reason is due

               to serious illness or, when, in the judgment of the President, such resignation and/or transfer is in the


               interest of the University that it shall be accepted and take effect immediately.

               b) Approval of a permit to transfer does not carry with it any waiver of the financial or property


               obligations / accountability of the transferee.

               Leave Privileges

                        Leave privileges of a faculty shall be classified as follows:

                                 a)  Teachers Leave (TL)

                                 b)  Vacation and Sick Leave (VSL)

                                 c)  Maternity Leave

                                 d)  Paternity Leave

                                 e)  Military Service  Leave

                                 f)  Sabbatical Leave

                                 g)  Study Leave

                                 h)  Other special leave privileges in accordance with CSC and sanctioned by the


                                 Board of Regents.
