            •  Sustainability Partnership & Collaboration
                with Indonesia
            NYAA  has  enjoyed  close  relations  with  Indonesia’s
            Bogor Agricultural University (IPB). NYAA Singapore
            contributed  keynote  speakers  on  sustainability
            and  climate  change  mitigation.  Additionally,  NYAA
            maintained  a  positive  rapport  with  H.E.  Dr  Siti
            Nurbaya,  Minister  of  Environment  and  Forestry  of
            Indonesia, an IPB alumna.

            •  The XVIII World Water Congress, Beijing,
                China
            The XVIII World Water Congress was held in Beijing
            in September 2023. The 2023 World Water Congress
            theme was “Water For All - Harmony between Humans
            and Nature.” NYAA Singapore was represented by Mr
            Shawn Seah, a Senior Engineer with PUB, Singapore’s
            National  Water  Agency,  an  Executive  Committee
            Member of the Singapore Water Association, and an
            NYAA Gold Award holder. He shared insights at one of
            the sessions on “How Young People Can Play a Role in
            Water Conservation.”


            •  United Nations Framework
                Convention on Climate Change
                (UNFCCC) 2023, Dubai, UAE
            The  NYAA  Executive  Director  attended  the
            United  Nations  Framework  Convention  on
            Climate Change (COP28) in Dubai, United Arab
            Emirates. The NYAA Singapore Delegation met
            and  briefed  ASEAN  Environment  Ministers
            on the progress of the South East Asia Youth
            Environment  Network,  chaired  by  NYAA
            Singapore. NYAA also shared information on
            the  HSBC  NYAA  Sustainability  Initiative  with
            environmental ministers attending the event.
            Many ministers requested additional details,
            and NYAA has followed up.
