• NYAA Coordinators’ Workshop
In March 2023, over 100 teachers, lecturers, and
youth leaders who are NYAA Coordinators attended
a workshop at ITE College Central. Two NYAA Gold
Award holders, Mr. Kenneth Wong and Mr. Andass

with low self-esteem and confidence. The workshop,
which included guidance from Mr C.H. Kong on the
NYAA Mobile Apps, was well-received and found
beneficial by the attendees.
• Straits Times Education Forum 2023
The Straits Times Education Forum 2023 was held
in March at the Yong Pung How School of Law,
Singapore Management University. Minister for
Education Mr Chan Chun Sing delivered a keynote

of skills. NYAA, represented at the forum, found it
helpful as we provide students with diverse pathways
to success.

Charity
NYAA senior management attended the Commissioner
of Charities Briefing & Dialogue at the Suntec

approach to impact. NYAA will implement the latest
code in our daily operations.

Ahead”
NYAA Executive Director joined Prime Minister Lee

pioneer political leaders, and Dr. S. Vasoo, the book’s
author, accepted an invitation to be an Advisor to the
NYAA Youth and Elderly Programme.
