• 4PM 75th Anniversary Celebration
NYAA was honoured to celebrate with the Malay
Youth Literary Association’s (4 PM) 75th Anniversary
in August 2023. The event, graced by Deputy Prime
Minister and Minister for Finance Mr Lawrence Wong,
celebrated two decades of partnership in developing
outstanding Malay youth leaders.

• The Bestari Award 2023
The Bestari Award recognises outstanding Malay/
Muslim ITE students. NYAA Executive Director has
served on the judging panel for over ten years. The
2023 ceremony, held at UOB Ability Hub and graced
by Minister of State Ms Sun Xueling, celebrated
the achievements of the top 45 students across ITE
Colleges.

• Bukit Merah Arts Week 2023
The Bukit Merah Arts Week 2023, led by LTC Lim
En, NYAA Gold Award Holders' Alumni Chairman,
celebrated the Bukit Merah Community Club's 60th
Anniversary. This initiative showcased how NYAA Gold
Award holders continue to serve the community.

• National Education Show 2023
The National Education Show 2023, themed
“Onward,” was held at the Padang in July 2023. The
event involved 73 primary schools and showcased
the talents of over 16,000 students. NYAA senior
management was honoured to witness this
impressive celebration of Singapore’s National Day.

• Parent Support Group Forum
NYAA is encouraged by the active participation of
Gold Award holders in Parent Support Groups (PSGs)
at schools. These groups work with school personnel
on programmes benefiting students and serve as a
communication channel for constructive feedback.
