• Prize Presentation Ceremony for the City In
Nature TikTok Video Competition 2023
The City In Nature TikTok Video Competition
garnered over 200 entries, showcasing creativity
and enthusiasm for Singapore’s natural landscapes.
Following rigorous evaluation, a selection of
outstanding videos was screened during the prize
presentation ceremony. Mr. Tan Kiat How, Senior
Minister of State for National Development and
Information and Communications, graced the event
as the Guest-of-Honour. He presented the coveted
top prizes to 10 deserving winners, commending their
innovative contributions to promoting Singapore’s
biodiversity and green spaces through digital media.
In his address, Minister Tan offered words of
encouragement to all participants, emphasizing
the importance of perseverance and continuous
improvement. He urged those whose videos were
not awarded to remain steadfast in honing their
skills and actively participating in Singapore’s City
In Nature initiatives. This event not only celebrated
creativity but also inspired ongoing engagement in
environmental stewardship among Singaporeans.
• NYAA GAHA Leaders New Year Gathering
NYAA is delighted to highlight the impactful
contributions of numerous Gold Award holders from
diverse cohorts during the challenging COVID-19
pandemic. These dedicated individuals demonstrated
exceptional leadership and service, extending their
efforts beyond Singapore to impact communities
positively.
NYAA’s Executive Director hosted a special New Year
dinner to express gratitude for their remarkable
contributions. This gathering served as an opportunity
to personally thank these exemplary leaders for their
steadfast commitment and outstanding service to
our community.
• GAHA Year-End Family Gathering 2023
The NYAA Gold Award Holders’ Alumni (GAHA)
organised a heartwarming year-end family gathering
at Orchid Country Club, bringing together Gold Award
holders and their families. This event exemplifies
NYAA’s commitment to fostering strong family bonds
among its community members. Gold Award holders
from various cohorts joyfully reunited with their
loved ones, promoting fellowship and meaningful
connections.
The gathering was a fertile ground for collaboration
and innovation, with participants sharing new ideas
and initiatives under NYAA’s signature programme,
Service Beyond Gold. NYAA’s Executive Director and
Deputy Executive Director were honoured to attend,
engaging with numerous Gold Award holders and
their families. The event celebrated achievements
and strengthened the NYAA community’s dedication
to serving society.
