5.3.1 Principles
Each Group company must define a schedule of external vehicle cleaning to provide assurance
that adequate arrangements are in place for the correct cleaning of the vehicles.
This standard defines the requirements that must be fulfilled to achieve the specific external
vehicle cleanliness by all Group Companies. Moreover, this standard sets a minimum quality that
must be satisfied to achieve the objective.
5.3.2 Process
The exterior washing must be completed paying special attention to those areas directly
related to safety, such as lights, front windows, rear-view mirrors, etc.
Exterior cleaning must be carried out at least every 2 days of service.
This can be completed using any system that guarantees proper cleanliness such as
washing tunnel, single brush, hand washing, etc.
In all cases, before starting any exterior cleanliness of the vehicle, the operator must ensure
that all windows and doors are completely closed to avoid water ingress which may cause
damage or failures.
