In Ephesians 6:4, God’s Word admonishes

fathers specifically — not the pastor or

Sunday School teachers or youth pastors

— to bring up their children in the nurture

and admonition of the Lord.

If I would have known how lax the churches

were in selecting the Sunday School

teachers who taught my children, I would

have never allowed my children to attend

Sunday School classes. And how can

parents know for sure what a Sunday

School teacher is teaching or how the

teacher is applying God’s Word when their
