and a true Christian will willingly suffer

reproach and alienation in order to obey and

honor God. It’s truly grievous to look on at the

lifestyles of multitudes of professing Christians

today whose conversations, behavior, goals,

and interests in life are no different from

unbelievers (except they’ve added church

attendance and church activities to their

agendas).

All is Vanity

Solomon, the wisest and most likely the

wealthiest man who ever lived, experienced all

the pleasures that this world has to offer, but he

concluded at the end of his life:

“So I was great, and increased more than all

that were before me in Jerusalem: also my

wisdom remained with me. And whatsoever

mine eyes desired I kept not from them, I

withheld not my heart from any joy; for my
