disapproval of the methods that are being used
in most churches today in order to build and
maintain a congregation. We also disagree with
the use of English Bible translations other than
the King James Version, and we believe in
separation from ministry endeavors with those
of unsound doctrine.
A Jealous God
God has created us to find our fulfillment in
Him, and He won’t allow us to be satisfied or
completely fulfilled by any other relationship
(as hard as we may try). I’ve observed a
devotion to family and to children and grand-
children in our day that comes very close to
idolatry. In an article entitled “Idolizing the
Family,” the author writes:
“I contend...that the Christian church in America
today has made an idol of the family. Idolatry
can be defined as the act of making a created
