About Being a Grandmother

fulfillment in my life revolve around them.

Since I became a born-again Christian, my

first love is, always has been, and always will be

the Lord Jesus Christ, and my goal in life has

been to honor and glorify God in all that I say

and do no matter what the cost.

That goal and desire, however, has created some

conflict and division with my children and

grandchildren because of my opposition to the

modern Bible translations, music styles,

entertainment-oriented worship styles, etc., that

have been promoted and approved of by many

churches today, including the churches that our

children and grandchildren attend.

My husband and I both believe that God never

intended that the church provide secular and

worldly-style activities and entertainment in

order to attract and sustain attendance, so we’re

in a very small minority as far as our
