About Being a Grandmother

             we  allow  them  to  disrespect  and  disobey


             authority  figures,  because  their  disrespect  and


             disregard for authority will more than likely lead


             to their disrespect and disregard for the authority




             of God’s Word.


             Proverbs 22:15 says, “Foolishness is bound in


             the heart of  a child; but the  rod of  correction


             shall drive it far from him,” and according to


             Proverbs 23:14, there seems to be a relationship


             between  using  “the  rod  of  correction”  when


             disciplining  a  child  and  the  child’s  eternal




             destiny.


             As  a  Christian  grandmother,  my  convictions


             went against the use of “time out” to discipline


             the deliberate and persistent disobedience of my


             grandchildren because I felt I was being forced


             to comply with a secular and unbiblical method


             of disciplining children.  Hebrews 12:6 implies


             that God disciplines His children by the use of
