About Being a Grandmother

ungodly influences that are in the world and that

have also infiltrated many churches. We would

have done much more to warn our children of

these subtle and harmful influences, and we

would have tried to make sure that they were

grounded in the sound teaching of God’s Word

and especially regarding separation issues,

knowing now how damaging these worldly

influences can be on young and impressionable

hearts and minds.

First Corinthians 15:33 tells us that “evil

communications corrupt good manners.” So

true! My husband and I have experienced first-

hand the truth of 1 Corinthians 15:33, which we

still deeply regret and are suffering the

consequences for some associations which led

to our temporarily succumbing to a lifestyle that

was not glorifying to God.
