2mo F Labrador Retriever with urinary incontinence. Images b–f are ordered from cranial to caudal. The left ureter was severely dilated
on ultrasound examination (a: L UR). The left renal pelvis is hydronephrotic without contrast enhancement (b: asterisk), and residual left
renal parenchyma is minimal. The right renal pelvis is also moderately dilated (b: arrowhead). The dilated left ureter is tortuous and
dilated and extends beyond the bladder trigone into the pelvis as a blind‐ending sac (c,e: white arrows). The right ureter is dilated, tun-
neling through the bladder wall and emptying contrast‐enhancing urine into the bladder, before continuing into the urethra (c–f: open
arrows). The ureterocele is seen as a thin‐walled compartment (d,e: small arrows) in the left caudal bladder with connection to the ureter
(c: small arrow). The vagina is filled with unenhanced urine dorsal to the urethra (e,f: black arrow).
