Will the Real Christians Stand Up
“We’ve been covering this story now for a while to see
the outcome of a speech three young ladies gave last week
in their local high school. As you can hear from the crowd be-
hind me, these students are passionate about having prayer
put back in school,” the reporter commented.
While the YouTube recordings played in the background,
the reporter continued, “We predict that thousands of stu-
dents will be in Tallahassee on December 1, and the outcome
will either silence the students in other states or encourage stu-
dents in other states to take a stand and do the same. I spoke
with several students, and here’s what they had to say.”
“How should we not have a say so when prayer is being
removed from our schools?” Nick said.
“But certain sources said they asked you,” the news re-
porter said as he thrust the microphone in front of Nick.
“They asked who? Not us,” Nick said sarcastically. “We
feel students in school should have a say whether we want
prayer in our schools or not.
“That’s the purpose for this peaceful march and protest,”
Zion said as he jumped in front of the microphone. “The only
one that would be offended by prayer and would want prayer
to be taken out of school is Satan himself. That’s not an act of
God; that’s an act of people that are governed by Satan. He
has people in high positions to carry out his will.”
Gaining control of the microphone once again, Reuben
Tates continued. “To hear more of this story and to hear from
more students who don’t agree with prayer being taken out
of school, follow us on CNN.com. We have a voting poll on
our CNN website, and we’re asking you, the people, to vote
whether prayer should remain or be taken out of schools. This
has been your roving reporter, Rueben Tates.
