Cheesy Mushroom Chicken Fettuccine
Ingredients and Prep:
1/4 cup of butter.
1/2 to 1 cup of milk.
1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese.
1 16-ounce package of fettuccine.
1 pound of fresh sliced mushrooms.
4 minced garlic cloves
2 5-ounce cans of drained chunk white chicken OR freshly-cooked and
cubed chicken breasts.
Cooking Directions:
Cook the fettuccine according to the directions on the package.
Cook the fresh chicken cubes.
Place the garlic and mushrooms in a large pan.
Sauté in butter for 2 to 3 minutes or until they're crisp and slightly tender.
Add the chicken to the mushrooms and garlic.
Pour in ½ cup of milk and cook for 5-7 minutes. It must be thoroughly
heated.
Drain the cooked fettuccine and add it to the pan.
Sprinkle cheese over the dish.
Serving Instructions, Tips & Variations: If necessary, add a bit of
additional milk once preparation is complete.
If you'd like to use fresh-cooked chicken: Cut the chicken into small
cubes and fry the chicken on low heat in coconut oil or organic cold-
pressed sunflower oil. Ensure the chicken is cooked through to the
center. This process will take approximately 10 minutes.
