means they function well and are well understood by all raters so they can
measure students' writing skills. In addition, several indicators to evaluate
the item fit is the values of the saparation, strata, and reliability; 3.43, 4.91,
and 0.92.
The classification of the Point Measure Correlation value into
different categories, namely very good (>0.40), good (0.30–0.39), adequate
(0.20-0.29), unable to discriminate (0.00-0.19), and requires examination of
the item (<0.00), was proposed by Alagumalai and Curtis (2005). This
classification is based on the understanding that point-measure correlation
is equivalent to point-biserial correlation in classical test theory. The
preliminary analysis findings reveal that each item within the rubric for
assessing writing skills has a point measure correlation value over 0.40. This
suggests that all items meet the criterion of being classified as "very good."
All values indicate that each item of the analytical scoring rubric for
argumentative text is fit with the model. The probability curve shown in
Figure 17 can also prove item fit analysis.
