Transporting of materials on site

• Plan for safe transporting of materials
on site.

• Do not use short cuts to transport
material on site.
• Use the correct equipment and loading

plant.
• Ensure all material is safely secured

when transporting. No swinging loads
when travelling on site.
• Obey site traffic manager’s instructions

and speed limits.
• Never overload trailers and flatbeds.

Always plan safe loading and
unloading techniques.

• Never place slings over the forks of a
teleporter.
• Be aware of height restrictions and

road conditions. You may need a
spotter in attendance.
