Even though he had to leave his hometown, which was

               loved by the Minang people, he set out for an aspiration to
               change fate for the better.

                                 Far bazaar a lot of diliek,

                     The adage above tells that every Minang person must
               add experience and knowledge to develop intellectually, so a

               Minang son is obliged to study. From the information above,

               it can be concluded that a person can inherit the talents and
               traits of his parents. Therefore, adat believes in the existence

               and potential of talents that are inherited from parents, as well
               as environmental influences.

                     In  this  case,  the  flow  of  education  in  the  Minang
               tradition  adheres  to  the  convergence  concept  introduced by

               William Stern (1871–1939), where the development of human

               learning  is  a  combination  of  talent  and  the  natural
               surroundings.
