4.3.3 Mode of study
The study also looked into the mode of study for which students teachers enrolled.

There are three modes of study at UNAM, namely, full-time, part-time, and distance. The study
revealed that all the students that participated in the study were enrolled full time.
4.3.4 Type of school for teaching practices
The study looked into the type of schools where student teachers were placed for teaching
practices.

According to the education system of Namibia, schools are mainly classified as either public or
private. The results of the study indicated that all the student teachers (100%) that participated in
this study did their teaching practices at public schools.
