4.3.8 Achievement of basic competencies and lesson objectives
Here the respondents were asked to indicate whether basic competencies and objectives are easily
achieved in every lesson according to the JSC syllabus.

The majority of the respondents (52.9%) indicated that basic competencies and objectives are not
easily achieved in every lesson according to the JSC syllabus. Only 47.1% of the respondents
indicated that basic competencies and objectives are easily achieved in every lesson according to
the JSC syllabus.
4.3.9 Time allocated for the poetry lessons
Figure 9 shows the responses of the participants to the question of whether time allocated for the
poetry lessons was enough to complete the intended work given or not.
