Yoon: How do you like this fully automatic electronic data testing machinery? As you have seen,
it’s the most efficient product in the market today. Rest assured that you will get your money’s
worth if you purchase this item.
Johnson: Well, they look attractive enough to me. However, I only want to purchase this testing
equipment in parts, is that possible? I hope you can allow that. After all, we have been part-
ners in the business for such a long time.
Yoon: We are very sorry about that, but we don’t break up the parts. We always sell these kinds
of electronic products by the unit under CKD base. We also have a special agreement with our
suppliers regarding this aspect. If we sell you the spare parts, we will be breaking our agree-
ment with our partners. I hope you understand. We are also committed to them.
Johnson: I’m a businessman too, Mr. Yoon. I understand your situation. Well, in that case, let’s
see… We would like to take 1,500 units on a trial order. I think this is good enough. Our in-
tention is to use the spare parts individually, so we can’t order a bigger number of units. We’ll
only settle for 1,500. I hope that’s good enough.
