The high quality

Yoon: We are confident that this kind of item will be rather inexpensive.
Adams: Well, I will agree with you on the quality of the Welding Robot 7288. However, the price,
from our point of view, is still high on the domestic market. Can’t you do anything more to at
least lower the price. I’m afraid that the high price will affect the potential buyers that you will
get.
Yoon: However, you have to consider the high quality. The price is kind of high because people
are paying for the quality.
Adams: I fully understand you, Mr. Yoon, but in view of the stiff competition in the industrial
robot market, I’m afraid we can’t compete with other products if we import the Welding
Robot 7288 at the current price. We have to be competitive. Clients usually choose the middle
ground. They won’t get the best if it’s too expensive.
Yoon: Well, as I mentioned, I want you to keep in mind that the Welding Robot is superior to
other models with similar pricing. This still gives us a chance to do well in the market. How-
ever, I am not abandoning the possibility of reducing the prices. We will look into that and I
will ask our production team to seek other ways to lower the production costs.

consumer groups because of the high quality of our products. Also, our consistently
soaring sales confirm that we indeed are the best in the market today.

Well, that’s not necessarily true all the time, but in most cases, I agree that quality and
high price almost always go together. Still, it is possible to combine high quality and
affordable price.

3. What characteristic or feature should your product have to maintain its be-
ing on top or to reach the top?

I think the biggest strengths of our product are its durability and efficiency. These are
