Sample answer:
Mr. Uy, I want you to know that the company values your work. We recognize the contribution
that you have made through the years. In fact, we consider you as one of our assets, and we
hope that you will stay with this company as it gets bigger and older. As a sign of appreciation
for all the work that you’ve done, we want to offer you a higher salary incentive. Aside from
that, we are providing you with a company car that you can use for official business. If you
want, you can also work on some terms for you to own the car the car. With these incentives, I
hope that you will continue doing a good job in this company.
2. Inform your staff that the project head of your team has suddenly resigned.
This means that some members of the staff have to take some of the respon-
sibilities that the project leader left behind. Assign the following tasks to
your personnel.
a. Conducting of feasibility test
b. Data gathering
c. Deciding on a marketing strategy
Sample answer:
I want you to know that the head of the New Age Project, Mr. Kim, has just resigned. I think
you know that this means that we have to divide and take on some of the tasks that he has
left behind. This is the main point of our meeting today. The research team headed by Ms.
Jade will now handle the feasibility test already half-done. The research team will handle the
data gathering. Please look at the tasks that Mr. Kim and his team have already done. Lastly,
the marketing department will continue to work on the marketing strategy proposal that they
have already drafted. However, Mr. Siy is the one who will monitor their progress. I hope that
everyone will be able to cope with these changes. I believe that we can still accomplish our
work despite Mr. Kim’s sudden resignation. Good luck to us!
