Cleveland Chapter #23. On Friday, July 8, 2022 at the Tall Ships Cleveland Festival, members of Cleveland
Chapter assisted in manning the display booth for the USS Cleveland Legacy Foundation. It was a great event
and the display had over 400 visitors who learned about the new USS Cleveland and the Lone Sailor
Monument event set for 2023. The exhibit and new sales merchandise were well received by the public and we
were visited by 3 Navy veterans who had served on the USS Cleveland, LPD -7.

Old Dominion Chapter #364. On Saturday, 11 June, Bro. Les Albers delivered the “Toast to the Flag” to 19
attendees at the Gladys MacDowell Doll Study Club at Lincolnia Senior Center, Alexandria, VA. Since the
theme for their displays included Flag Day, Bro. Albers took the opportunity to dress an action figure and
himself as Uncle Sam. The Toast and costume were well received by this patriotic organization.
