1. Starting in your boxing stance, take a step forward with
your lead foot and begin to lower your level by bending your

knees and weaving in the same direction as the lead foot.

                2. As your knees begin to extend during the upward motion
of the weave, throw an uppercut with your lead hand.
Additionally, during the upward motion of the weave, take a

step forward with your rear foot, resetting your boxing
stance. At this point, your feet should be about shoulder-
                width apart.

                3. Retract your lead hand to protect your chin.

                4. Next, weave and take a lateral step with your rear foot.

                5. As your knees begin to extend during the upward motion
of the weave, throw an uppercut with your rear hand. During
the upward motion of the weave, your lead foot takes a
lateral step toward your rear foot, resetting your boxing
stance. Your feet should be about shoulder-width apart.

                6. Retract your rear hand back to protect your chin.

Important note: When following your lead foot, the rear
foot takes a forward and diagonal step. Next, the rear foot
takes a lateral step, followed by a lateral step of the lead

foot in the same direction, which avoids bringing both feet
                parallel to each other.

                       UPPERCUTS MOVING BACKWARD

                1. Starting in your boxing stance, take a step backward with
your rear foot as you begin to lower your level by flexing

your knees and weaving in the same direction as the rear
                foot.

                2. As your knees begin to extend during the upward motion
of the weave, throw an uppercut with your rear hand. During

the upward motion of the weave, take a step backward with
