1. Starting in your boxing stance, step forward in the
                direction of your lead foot, keeping your rear foot in its

                starting position. As you begin to close distance with your
                desired target, extend your jab while slightly lowering your
                level.

                2. Retract your jab as you push off your lead foot to step
                back to starting position. Bring your level back to starting

                position.

                3. Step off in the direction of your rear foot, keeping your
                lead foot in its starting position. As you step off, extend your
                jab while slightly lowering your level.


                4. Retract your jab as you push off your rear foot to step
                back to starting position. Bring your level back to starting
                position.

                Note: For extra practice, combine this exercise with Jab and

                Cross Moving Side to Side (page 19).
