(c). Make matchmarks on the steering axle and
steering wheel.
Notice:
Make sure that the matchmarks are visible.
(d). Pull out the steering wheel from the
steering axle.

4. Inspect the steering wheel
(a). Inspect whether the flange of the steering wheel is warped or has cracks, break and other
defects. If the defects above exist, replace with a new steering wheel if necessary.
5. Install the steering wheel
(a). Install the steering wheel on the steering
axle according to the assembly
matchmarks.
Caution:
The installation must be carried out in
accordance with the matchmarks made before.

(b). Install the retainer ring and screw down
the fixing nuts of the steering wheel.
Torque: 40～50 N•m
