Front axle-front wheel hub with brake drum assembly

(b) Grease outer race of outer tapered roller
bearing, and press it onto left rear wheel
hub using copper bar.

Grease: 2# lithium base grease

(c) Fill left front wheel hub with plenty of
grease until 1/3 volume of its chamber is
occupied.
Grease: 2# lithium base grease

16. Installing left front wheel hub oil seal
(a) Heat oil seal ring to allow it to expand,
and press it onto left steering knuckle
using special die.
• At the same time, press inner race 24
of inner tapered roller bearing onto
left steering knuckle using copper
bar, and apply grease.

Grease: 2# lithium base grease
Notice:

Be sure to replace with new oil seal ring.

(b) Coat oil seal with grease, and install it
onto left front wheel hub using sharp
nose pliers.

Grease: 2# lithium base grease
Notice:
Be sure to replace with new oil seal.

17. Installing right front wheel hub bearing
Tip:
Follow the same installation steps for left front wheel hub bearing to install right front wheel hub
bearing.
18. Installing right front wheel hub oil seal
Tip:
Follow the same installation steps for left front wheel hub oil seal to install right front wheel hub oil
seal.
