Rear axle- rear wheel brake
8. Inspect the brake drum
(a). As drawn, Inspect the inner diameter
working surface of the brake drum for
any cracks. If the brake drum appears
grooves or furrows due to the damage,
repair or replace it, if it appears tiny
furrows or slight abrasion, it can be used
again after repairing.

(b) As drawn. Measure the inner diameter of
the brake drum as shown in the
illustration. The dimensions of the brake
drums on both sides of the same axle
shall be the same, repair or replace them
if necessary.

(c) As drawn. Measure the roundness error
(radial circular run-out) of brake drums,
Dia indicator repair or replace them if necessary.
