TAMPA POLICE DISTRICT III MEETS WITH TAMPA PARK APARTMENTS
After a rash of drive-by shootings, that led to arrests, the major, captain and officers of District III held a meeting with the owners, management, security, resident captains and residents of the Tampa Park Apartments to share the strategy and implementation of plans to have a Safe Summer Campaign. The law enforcement officials met with the Tampa Park princi- ples along with the president of the NAACP at the Robert W. Saunders, Sr. Branch Library on Tuesday, June 12th. The meet- ing was very productive. Some of those in attendance were from left: Security for Tampa Park, Bangor Security guards, Nakeria Harris and Raheem Pontiflet; TPD Major Rocky Ratliff, Tampa Park Board member, Otis Jacobs, Sgt. Danny Rhodes, Tampa Park Property Manager, Yolanda Amos, NAACP President Yvette Lewis and Tampa Park Board member, Paul Hayes.
