Catenary wire replacement :
As per the guidelines from the railway board, the splices of the
catenary wires must in single TL should not be more than 15 no.s i.e
should not be more than 1 splice per 100 Mts. But due to monkey
menace cases in DKJ sub division there are frequent cases of catenary
cuts in suspension clamps due to flow of heavy fault currents during CB
trippings and the catenary splices are more than 15 in TL in some
locations. Division has taken up the catenary replacement work and 10
Tls (10876 Mts).
