sometimes there was a fundamental change to the
department’s structure or workflow for example.
What was absolutely miraculous was that each
department could now see every single day what their
game plan was and that of the other departments. They
could NOW see that if they were successful then the
other department would also be successful.
The general manager also had the same amount of two
boards but had more of a high helicopter overall wide-
lens view. Each department could now see the entire
game plan, what we wanted to achieve, what we had
planned for the road ahead to finish the game plan and
finally how to execute the game plan.
It is amazing how many individuals and businesses do
not have any game plan, let alone share it with the
organisation’s team. According to Forbes.com, more
than 90 percent of businesses that have failed either did
not have a game plan or had one that was not well
placed together.
