P. 182

“Then the glory of the LORD rose from above the cherubim
and moved to the threshold of the temple. The cloud filled

the temple, and the court was full of the radiance of the glory
             of the LORD” (Ezekiel 10:4).

The cloud that represents the glory of God always remained

upon the tabernacle. The cloud of God did not reside only in
the light of day. Even at night, the pillar of cloud remained.

“So the cloud of the LORD was over the tabernacle by day,

and fire was in the cloud by night, in the sight of all the house
of Israel during all their travel” (Exodus 40:38).

This verse shows the pillar of fire remaining in the middle

of the pillar of cloud. Can you see, as the pillar of cloud
covered the tabernacle, the pillar of fire always remained

on the Tent of Meeting? The pillar of fire and cloud are not
something that appears and disappears or ceases to exist. As

the glory of God is eternal, so are the pillar of fire and cloud.
Isn’t it only right that as the pillar of cloud remained on the

Tent of Meeting, the pillar of fire would always remain upon
             the most holy place?
