for the hours they actually work.  Non-exempt team members may choose to use accrued paid
              leave  time  for  the  balance  of  the  regular  work  schedule  when  sent  home  due  to  inclement
              weather or other emergency situation.  Exempt team members who report to work and are sent
              home due to inclement weather or other emergency will be compensated for the entire day.

              If a team member does not have accrued paid leave time, the team member may not be eligible
              for  pay  during  inclement  weather  or  other  emergency  closings  as  indicated  in  the  above
              paragraphs.

              Alternate Safe Location

              Jack & Jill Children’s Center has designated a predetermined off site location as its alternate
              safe location.  This location will be used to house the team members and children in cases where
              the physical site is uninhabitable.  Such scenarios include but are not limited to:  fire, flood, toxic
              spill, and/or fumes.  The Chief Executive Officer will make the determination to evacuate the
              center and proceed to the alternate safe location and will advise the team members as such.
              Team members are required in all emergency situations to take their red backpack to include
              any medication, the sign in/out sheet and/or attendance record and emergency contact forms
              for their classroom when exiting the center.
