Page 18 - MOVING THROUGH AIR
P. 18

As you walk with Jesus, how might you make a difference and be an

overcomer when you meet a problem?

                 On the trip

Take time to enjoy and appreciate the beauty, variety and co-ordination of

the creatures as they move. Can the children think of words to describe the
movement of particular creatures? Acknowledge that this is God’s handiwork,
and that it is very good!

            Learning for Life (Fulfilment)

                 1. The children will appreciate the variety, beauty and co-ordination, which
can be seen in how creatures move in a particular habitat.

                 2. They will know the practical reasons why living creatures need to move.

                 3. They will appreciate that God is not subject to any limitations, and that he

                     is omnipresent.

                 4. They will realise that God has given human beings the capacity to discover
creative ways of overcoming seeming obstacles to freedom of movement

                              TAKING CARE OF LIVING THINGS

            Truth to Teach (Source)

Genesis 1:28 ‘God blessed them (man) and said to them, “Be fruitful and

increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the of the sea
and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the
                           ground.”’

 In the beginning Father God commanded man to rule over and take care of

                                  all living things for him.

 Man has failed to properly care for the world because of selfishness. He

has over-hunted some animals and destroyed the habitats of
                                  many others.
