6. Stress the importance of providing food for any pets the children may have.

                 7. More able children could draw food chains using reference materials to help.
Less able could cut out the pictures to create their own food chains.

                 8. End by thanking God for his wisdom in creation and for providing enough food
on the earth for everyone and everything.

            Learning for Life (Fulfilment)

                 1. To understand that God has decided what each creature will eat and that he
has provided the right amount of food for each animal. He is faithful to

                     creation.

                 2. To begin to see how we can be faithful, if we have pets, by getting the right
                     food to eat each day.

                 3. To see how God has linked animals and plants together in food chains so that
there are not too many of one type of animal.

Genesis 1:20-22, 25, 28 ‘Let the waters teem with living creatures, and let birds
fly above the earth across the expanse of sky.’

Acts 17:24-28 God chooses the exact places where we should live.

 Father God has created living creatures to move within a particular habitat for
                    purpose and pleasure.

 Movement is important for survival: for protection, procuring food, finding
                    shelter, and finding a mate.

 Moving demonstrates the peaceful harmony and co-operation between pairs of
muscles and between muscles and bones.
